As we crest into 2018, we would like to thank all of the supportive travel industry suppliers that have joined on and participated in the many showcases we have had this past year.  We cannot say how much we appreciate the time and energies put forth by their efforts to make these events successful!

We also want to thank all of the travel agents that registered and attended our events as well.  Your participation proves to the industry how valuable these shows are and what they mean to your business.

Looking ahead, we are excited to add some new destinations to our schedule as well as returning to some old favorite regions.  At Travursity, we feel that our events continue to evolve with new experiences as we explore new and unique venues to make these events more memorable.  Our list of suppliers signing on for 2018 has already exceeded our expectations and we haven’t even reached the end of 2017; so we are very excited to see who will be at each event.  Along with some special surprises we are planning, 2018 looks to be quite an exciting year for everyone.

But of course, with the growth we are experiencing, we have been required to re-evaluate our procedures and implement some decisions to make our showcases more productive.

One of the biggest changes occurring in 2018 that will undoubtedly be noticed is that every registration will include a fee when a travel agent signs up for an event.  Unfortunately looking back, one of the biggest problems we encountered was agent no-shows.  The suppliers attending expect professional travel agents to attend and learn about their products, destinations and brands.  It is important that the agents that register are committed to showing up and participating.  The fee will be nominal, but should prevent duplicate registrations; a problem that wastes space, as well as reinforces the commitment by the agent to attend.

We understand that there will be agents that will refuse to register for our events because there is a fee.  We are comfortable knowing that a true travel professional that wants to expand their knowledge through networking and education, will find the charge a worthwhile investment in their business.  These are the agents the suppliers seek out to invest in!

Again, we look forward to 2018 and welcoming agents and suppliers alike across the nation at Travursity Travel Showcase!
