As we reach the end of 2016 and we reflect back on our first year of Travursity Travel Showcase; we can honestly say it has been a great ride!
Our first season in Spring we kicked off in Ft. Lauderdale with our first showcase and we had a wonderful turnout with some great suppliers in house presenting their products. New Orleans, Boston, Chicago, St. Louis and New Jersey/Philly rounded out events and throughout the process we continued to receive great feedback from our suppliers and agents.
Some of the highlights for the agents and suppliers included a tour at Mardi Gras World with a behind the scenes of float 
building and design, while in St. Louis, we held our event at the River City Casino to a packed house and incredible venue experience.
After, what it seemed liked a short summer; we made our way to Baltimore, Denver, Atlanta, Phoenix and our home town of Orlando. Our events began to take on a life of their own as we had a 3 toed sloth as a special guest in Denver at the Downtown Aquarium, many agents won with their match play at the Horseshoe Casino in Baltimore, and our explosive finale at SeaWorld where we hosted our 1st Travursity Agent Experience™ where the agents were treated to a backstage park tour and a once in a lifetime dinner with the whales of SeaWorld!
We believe that these events truly are a valuable addition to an agent’s growth and providing these opportunities is what Travursity Travel Showcase is all about. As we begin to finalize our 2017 schedule, we will continue to bring on new and well known suppliers, create a positive and productive learning 
experience and maintain the zest to make these events fun and entertaining.
We appreciate all the support we received over the past year. Monique and I have worked tirelessly to put together something that not only we would be proud of, but an experience that will be rewarding for both agents and suppliers alike. We have to admit, for only 2 people to put together what we have in only one year’s time; we are pretty proud of what we have accomplished.
As 2017 quickly approaches, the anticipation of new regions to visit and agents to meet will bring a multitude of new experiences for all that participate in our events. We will strive to make the upcoming events exciting and educational and hope that we will meet you in the future or welcome you back again at a future showcase.
