Under the Sea is the last place you would expect to be in the mile high city of Denver, Co, but low and below Travursity Travel Showcase figured out a way to make that impossibility happen last week. Our latest event took place at the Downtown Aquarium and upon entering this incredible facility, we felt like we entered an underwater paradise of sea life and ocean habitat.dscn2994

dscn3030The showcase proved to be quite special as the event host began the evening with a presentation on the aquarium and the appeal of the downtown Denver locale and what it can mean to an agent booking domestic travel in this region.  A special guest was brought in during this presentation and the agents were able to get up close and personal with a 3 toed sloth named Aspen.  She was quite a treat and another unique example of how Travursity brings education and fun to these events.

Next up, or should we say down, since we were in the ballroom under the sea (technically the aquarium), the agents and travel suppliers were all impressed with the nautical  and ocean life décor that adorned the ballroom from every corner to every table.  Coral centerpieces, fish and octopus tray holders along with an exemplary buffet of dishes that were none less than delicious, provided the attendees a wonderful meal while the supplier’s presentations took place.

This event was truly a great example of making a working event fun and special.  The presenter’s really engaged the agents and everyone left with such great appreciation and thanks. We were especially thrilled to have Sandals, Bedsonline, Tesoro Resorts and the Israel Ministry of Tourism discuss what is new with their destinations and properties while providing much needed product insight to the agents so that they may deliver these options to their clients.  We look 20160914_175629forward to continuing to provide these type of showcases that unite the agents and suppliers, all while making it productive, yet enjoyable.  Now on to Atlanta!!

We hope that we will be coming to your region soon and if not this year, then hopefully we will see you at one of our events in 2017. See you then!
